Dispatch in TradeOS is a day board in the admin app: one column per tech, jobs placed on an 8am–6pm timeline in your business timezone. Toggle Board / List when you want a sorted schedule instead of swimlanes.
The dispatch board
Open Dispatchfrom the sidebar. You see a column per tech and the day's jobs on a timeline. Unassigned jobs sit in their own lane. Use the date pills to look ahead up to a week.
- Cards sized by duration when a schedule window exists
- Off-hours jobs (outside 8a–6p) pin to the top of the lane
- Footer shows which timezone the board is using
Assigning a job
Two ways that ship today:
- Open the job (or create a new one) and set Scheduled for, Duration, and Assigned tech. Saving writes a schedule block when both a start time and a tech are present.
- From the board, use the tech reassign control on a job card to move it to another tech. Overlapping windows surface a clear conflict message.
Timezone and duration
Set Settings → Business → timezone. Scheduling and the dispatch "today" boundary use that zone — not the server's UTC clock. Duration defaults to 60 minutes; change it on the job form so the board reflects a real day.
What the tech sees
On the mobile app, each tech sees a Today list of jobs scheduled for the current day, with customer and status. They can open a job for notes, photos, and status updates. A full mobile dispatch board is not required to run the day.
